This place hits -- CONSISTENTLY!!! My favorite sitdown eatery in Diamond Bar. Hands down-- BEST SERVICE ever at a dimsum place. The ladies who run the place most days of the week are so friendly and attentive. They really take care of all their customers!!! I get big smiles and seated right away everytime I'm here. I always order their dimsum from 9am to 3pm. Pork and Shrimp Shumai, Pork Spareribs, Chinese Donut, Chicken Feet. Also, their Mongolian Beef, Braised Seafood Tofu with Vegetables and Salt and Pepper Porkchops are amaaaazingly delicious! Their Lemon Iced Tea is refreshing and not too sweet!

I can't believe I didn't know of this place sooner and my parents live so close by. They offer all the traditional dishes form a Hong Kong cafe PLUS dim sum. The location is pretty small so it does fill up quickly. The food came out super fast and hot. Wish the HK milk tea was a bit stronger in tea flavor, but overall, we were very happy with our dishes. Will definitely be back!

Normally, my favorite thing about having dim sum in bring in a big loud dining room full of people. I never expect to have good service and the good is usually average, but that's expected. But other times I want really delicious dim sum minus the noise and craziness- This is when I come to Tasty Box! Located in the Hmart plaza in Diamond Bar, tasty box is a cute little restaurant located next to Starbucks. You can order to go or dine in. If you take out, everything is packaged beautifully and the food is freshly prepared and handled with care. If you dine in, service has always been wonderful and the Food here is so, so good! We've literally tried everything on the menu here and everything has exceeded other dim sum restaurants in quality/taste/presentation. Because the restaurant itself is on the smaller side, sometimes there's a wait for a table. But there's so much in the shopping place that there are plenty of places to kill time while you wait. If you haven't tried Tasty Box yet, bookmark it now and stop in when you can!

Always stop here whenever I visit family nearby, often making that as an excuse to drop by Tasty Box. I've struggled with service from other restaurants the two kind ladies working here are so kind and patient with us. They definitely make the experience and dinner an enjoyable time. This sit down location offers dim sum before 3pm and is the best place for taste and service. Theres plenty of parking but it is quite busy as the shopping center hosts a lot of familiar stores. I recommend stopping here for lunch with friends. Our favorite order has to be the steamed rice rolls or the crispy chicken wings. There isn't really enough space for a party but the team at Tasty Box is always happy to make something work for you.

We were visiting near the Southern California city of DiamondBar and tried a local favorite-Tasty Box HK Bistro restaurant. Our server was very helpful and helped with suggestions. We tried a few dishes from their Dim Sum menu including delicious Spareribs with black bean sauce for $5.25 Pork and Shrimp siu Mai 4 pieces for $5.25 Sesame balls with meat stuffing 3 pieces for $4.99 For our main dishes we chose their crispy garlic pork knuckle for $17.99 French style filet mignon cubes for $19.99 braised tofu for $13.99 and Singapore style vermicelli for $14.25 For drinks we tried their HK milk tea for $3.50 served hot or cold ( we chose cold) and was traditional and tasty! They also feature family style combos for better values! All in all we were very pleased with the value,portion sizes,flavor and freshness at our Tasty Box HK Bistro experience in Diamond Bar California! I get so confused between this Tasty Box Bistro and the other Tasty Box located in the same plaza, just cross from each other! We frequently visit this location for Mapo Tofu ($13.25) and order over the phone to avoid the 15-25 minute wait. Good portion of mapo tofu with ground pork. The tofu comes in good size chunks which I appreciate instead of little small cubes that break fairly easy. Small eatery with only 5-8 tables indoors and a few outdoor tables. Dimsum seems to be a popular here as I've seen many people dine here for it but haven't had a chance to try it out. Located in the same plaza as H-Mart, right by the Starbucks.

the convenience of this place, the nostalgia, and just its existence makes me happy that its local. the service is prompt and they serve everything i need in a hk cafe/dim sum place. the only small complaint was that i ordered eggplant under the vegetarian dishes but it comes with pork strips. make sure to let them know to take that out if you intend it to be a vegetarian dish!

We accidentally went to the original Tasty Box and was informed that we were looking for It's sister location in the same plaza next to Starbucks. The staff were super friendly and moved tables for us. She was so nice and brought filtered water for my kids. There are roughly 8 small tables in the tightly packed restaurant. They menu is pretty big and was super excited that they had pan fried sticky rice which is my daughter's favorite. They also had another hard to find item near us, crispy noodles with gravy. There are very few places near us that do this well. We were super happy with everything we got. Highly recommend the pork chops with honey garlic sauce, braised green beans, and eggplant with pork.
